Worship Service Sunday, June 16, 2024

NEW LEXINGTON, Ohio — We as fathers and grandfathers need to be real in our example to the Lord.

Husbands: Love your wives. (Ephesians 5:25)

Two core messages based in Scripture from our guest preacher, Daryl Hurst in today’s worship service centered squarely on Father’s Day at South Main Church of Christ.

Tylor Waite, Deacon, conducted Opening Prayer.

Tom Sheppard, Elder, led song.

Daryl Hurst, of Norval Park Church of Christ, was our guest preacher.

Jim Lanning, Elder, shared Communion.

Ernie Starling, Elder, shared announcements.

The Elders and Deacons will be cleaning out the former classroom across from the restrooms on Saturday, June 22, 2024 to move the nursery into that space. Anyone with belongings in that room is welcome to retrieve those items.

Mark Randolph conducted Closing Prayer.

Below is an audio recording of the service in its entirety. An important note: Due to a technical failure, this week’s audio recording is of substandard quality and does not meet the listenability standards you have come to expect (and deserve) from our sermons. We are working to correct it in conjunction with the creation of a digital center for recorded and ‘live’ audio and video services within the church building. Thank you for your patience.

Daryl Hurst has been kind to provide a copy of his PowerPoint presentation so our web visitors may follow along if you choose.

Daryl clearly worked hard to provide today’s Father’s Day sermon. He was gracious to share his work with us as we listened to his message, based in Scripture. We would like to share that work with you, our web viewer.

Thank you
