NEW LEXINGTON, Ohio — Members of South Main Church of Christ assembled this morning for worship, then fellowship at the church building.
Today’s service was conducted by Tom Sheppard, Elder; Tylor Waite, Deacon; and Ernie Starling, Elder. Jim Lanning did join us today, though he is still recovering from an illness and remains in our prayers. It was good to see Jim and we are blessed to have him.
Ernie gave today’s sermon.
Here is a recording of the sermon in its entirety:
A message from Jarrod Allen, webmaster & sound technician:
Please bear with this recording, as we were challenged several times today with equipment issues impacting the live sound in the auditorium. We are focused on providing video sometime in the second half of 2024, and that is requiring making numerous technological changes within the church, including using a temporary arrangement until our Digital Center is built. Some changes may cause issues with the listening experience for the time being for our members. We are working hard to keep these to a bare minimum. Our process of adopting video is slow, but it is a means to an end: a modernized church experience, while holding true to our guiding principles in the New Testament. I personally and unconditionally apologize for the inconvenience.
