Hi! I am Jim Lanning, one of three elders serving the church of Christ at South Main Street, New Lexington, Ohio. Tom Sheppard and Ernie Starling also serve as elders.
We three elders are shepherds and overseers for the Lord’s church on South Main Street.
Some of my responsibilities are preaching, Bible class teacher, Secretary for business meetings and anything else that I’m able to do for Christ’s church.
(Our beloved preaching minister, Larry Arnold died in January.)
We have two visiting preachers (Daryl Hurst and Charles Savage) with the three elders filling in as pulpit ministers.
I am married to Marsha and we have a son, daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren.
We would like to cordially invite you to our worship service and Bible studies. If you have any questions please ask. We will be happy to have you visit us. We encourage everyone to hear and learn about God’s grace toward us.
